Dortmund, one of 12 host cities for the 2006 World Cup, is hurriedly building wooden sex huts with the aim of encouraging discretion among prostitutes and their clients. According to Reuters, “experts estimate as many as 40,000 prostitutes may travel to Germany to offer their services to fans during the tournament.” To make them comfortable, “Dortmund plans to arrange the Dutch-designed huts … in an area with condom machines and snack bar.” Like a highway rest stop, but cooler. “We don’t want a situation where prostitutes and their clients disturb residential areas,” says an official. Just read this article in Arab Times where they are talking about building a rail system in Kuwait in preparation for the major traffic congestion we will be facing in the upcoming future. Now the cool thing in the article is they are proposing the futuristic Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) to connect major buildings. It was the first time I had heard about it so I did a bit of research and this thing is like super cool. Its like mini trains that hold around 4 people for example, and if you are say at the main NBK branch in Kuwait City and you want to go to Souk Sharq for lunch, instead of taking the car you just hop into one of these tiny air conditioned capsules and tell it to go to Souk Sharq and it will take you. This system just requires major buildings to be connected via tracks and you no longer need to your car to travel from your building to another down the street. Was talking to a friend of mine and he was surprised to hear the Pizza Italia is still open. So incase you guys didn’t know, Pizza Italia IS still open. I know of 2 branches, one in Bayan next to McDonalds, and one in Hawalli nearly opposite Mouhalab Mall. There phone numbers are 538-7798 and 266-7711. They deliver, the Large sized pizza with everything on it (called the God Father) is for only KD1.500
I have been sitting infront of the computer now for 1 hour just trying to think of something and nothing is coming out. I think I have blown a fuse because of the overload with work. Since the creative director left the agency, my responsibilities have trippled, I am growing white hair and I never have time to think anymore. Awhile ago I found out they want me to come in on Friday even, which I won’t do ofcourse. Friday is MY fucking day off, its bad enough we don’t have a 2 day weekend and I am not gonna give them my Friday, even if its only this one time, I will not give it up. I need a mother fucking long vacation…

KUWAIT CITY—In light of the country’s recent decision to allow women to vote and hold public office, observers around the world have noted that Kuwait appears to have discovered the fairer sex. “The boys in Kuwait are really taking notice of how much the girls have changed over the country’s long political winter,” said Fouad Ajami, an expert in Arab affairs. “They’re no longer shyly avoiding women they’re not related to or clumsily shooting them for not wearing veils in public.” Ajami added that he was not entirely surprised by Kuwait’s discovery, given its long history of teasing women, calling them names, and stoning them to death for being unclean.
