I just changed the website’s theme awhile ago. It’s similar to the old one and derived from the Miskan one. I find this new one tidier and visually more attractive. I will work on it a bit more later also to improve it.

Update: This is not the final look, fonts, colors and banner might change, feedback though is appreciated. Also if things look strange, like if the font looks ugly, do a hard refresh .

Update 2: I put the old theme back up since I didn’t have time to work on the new one tonight. Will try to find time to work on the new theme tomorrow again.

23 People is a photo sharing site like flickr except a lot simpler and cooler. If I can find a way to move all my Miskan pictures to 23 People I would move. Maybe I can use 23 People for my personal and vacation pictures etc.. [Link]

Today I had a tough time choosing my picture of the day. I was going to go for this one but decided to go for the more traditional fishing boat picture. This B-Side picture was taking inside the Kout Mall. This Nissan Armada was parked in the middle of the fountain I guess as a display or something.

I don’t know how I missed this, maybe because at first glance the tape adapter looks like a regular tape adapter. But, when you read on you realize that this is not regular by any means. The Griffin Technology tape adapter actually allows you to control your ipod using your cars tape deck! Someone told me about this 5 minutes ago and I was like no way, then I checked out the site and turns out its true. This means we can ditch the crappy iTrip and finally get some decent sound. Todays B-Side is from my office building. They were fixing the elevator again today but this time it was like only 1 guy working. I took his picture and I later realized he was a B-Side before! Poor guy, seems like he will never make the A-list. Click here for todays A-Side picture.

I just got back from watching Star Wars at Fanar. I went with Nat, Fadibou, Missundaztoood, Tivo Guy and Calmness. Fanar is definitely a much better movie theater then Marina. The sound was great and the theater much larger, the whole experience was much better then my marina one. The company I was with was also great, we booked the tickets from KNCC.com earlier in the day so we were able to get excellent seats next to each other. Even if we hadn’t booked beforehand I dont think we would have had a problem getting decent seats, the theater was basically empty, not a lot of Star Wars fans in Kuwait it seems. Thinking about the movie now, I think it was actually pretty good, specially if you look at it from episode 1 all the way to 6. Lucas managed to merge them all together very smoothly.

I can’t wait till they come out with the Star Wars Sixology DVD set, that would be amazing..

This is going to be the coolest thing! iRobot, the makers of Rooma the robot vacuum cleaner are coming out with the Scooba. The scooba is a Robotic Floor Washer and its exactly what I need for my hardwood floors. The scooba works by first vacuuming up the flotsam and jetsam, then applying a liquid cleaner, and following up by drying the floor. Its coming out in the fall so it will be on my Christmas wishlist.. Videos and more info here. Here is a picture of my roomba in action.

Just came back from a blogger meetup. It wasn’t planned as one but it turned into one. I had lunch with Tivo-Guy, Missundaztoood and Fadibou at Starbucks in Salhiya. The meetup was very cool, we mostly sat and talked about the PSP and Halo2, and Fadi was telling us about how Microsoft Longhorn will kick ass when it comes out in 2015. Compared to the planned “official” meetups, I think our unplanned one faired out evenly even-though we didn’t have an invisible celebrity guest!
