My friend told me about this place in Kuwait that can pimp out your car by making your doors open vertically instead of horizontally.. like Lamborgini’s. I think he said it costs KD1000 per door or something. So today on my way back home from work I saw this pimped out envoy with the doors open and I took a quick picture.

Oh and earlier tonight I was crossing the traffic light (walking) behind this old Ford Bronco when I saw a sticker on his rear window that said “Don’t Look Inside”, so I looked inside and wow, the guy had the whole interior of the car laid out with speakers on the bottom and the amps all around the inside windows. There were atleast 12 subs and an equal amount of amps all laid out. Really cool shit.

I have time off from Thursday 3rd of November till Sunday 6th of November due to Eid Al-Fitr. Our office in Saudi Arabia though will be out from tomorrow Wednesday 2nd till the 8th!!

I was coming in to work today when I briefly saw an ad on the street which at first glanced looked like Coca Cola had some sort of deal with Sony Ericsson. When I got to the office someone was talking about the new Wataniya ads with Rotana. So I go to the Wataniya website and there was the ad I saw in the morning. It wasn’t Coca Cola with Sony Ericsson, it was Wataniya with Rotana and Nokia!

October had the highest amount of unique visitors to this blog with a total of 26,319, over 4 times the amount of September which was only 6,826 unique visitors. The highest amount of unique visitors in one day was 1,704 and that was on the 27th of October. The lowest amount of visitors was 722 and that was on October 1st.

I think Eureka are living in a world of their own. I past by yesterday and they had the old 15inch powerbooks for KD1115 which is $3818 making it nearly $2000 more expensive then the new 15inch PowerBooks. Way to go Eureka! I think they are officially the most expensive Mac store in Kuwait.

The coolest update has to be Disk Utility: With Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later, Disk Utility can verify your computer’s startup disk (volume) without requiring you to start up from another volume. This feature is called “Live Verification.” If Disk Utility discovers any issues that require a repair, you will need to start up from your Mac OS X Tiger DVD or CD and use Disk Utility on that disc to make repairs. (You can’t repair your startup volume while your computer is started up from it.)

I watched a movie yesterday called Simple Lies. From the minute it started I hated the movie. The first scene involved 2 guys and a girl near a cliff during sunset dancing as if they were listening to rave. For me thats trying too hard to be cool. The whole movie was like that, trying too hard to be cool or trying too hard to be weird or even trying too hard to be cult. The acting was bad, the lines were terrible, the story uninteresting and the ending was stupid. I do not recommend this movie. Simple Lies is Simply Crap.

Matt Mullenweg of WordPress has released a new anti-spam plugin for WordPress called Akismet. According to the early beta users its supposed to be incredibly accurate capturing 99.51% of the spam with no false positives. I personally won’t be installing it since I am using Spam Karma and it has been doing an incredible job catching in total over 10,000 spam comments since I installed it late September. Hopefully what he said is true and things are going to get better. What new service I would like to see is maybe a mail back to sender option where we could ship products back to the States incase of damages or returns.

When I first saw the trailer for Dark Water a few months back I joked around saying it looked like a movie about bad plumbing. Well yesterday I watched the movie and believe it or not it IS a movie about bad plumbing! It was a terrible movie on many levels including the fact that it stared Jennifer Connelly who I can’t stand anymore after watching her “ass to ass” in Requiem for a Dream. The movie was very slow with very little happening and the ending was very disappointing. Half way through the movie I got bored and started to play Colin McRae on my PSP.. it was that bad. Even Nataly who loves scary movies found this one lame. The movie is bad and a waste of time, don’t watch it.
