I noticed many bloggers are moving around lately either from blogger to WordPress or from Blogspot to a hosted blog. Well I found a link that can help you find free web hosting with no ads. The other day I posted about how you can check out Kuwait using Google Maps, well I found a site that will take you sightseeing around the world using Google Maps, ever wanted to visit Disney Land, Buckingham Palace, or the Colosseum? What Google Sightseeing have done is find these and more famous landmarks using the satellite maps and then given us the links to them. I just sent them the Kuwait Towers link for them to add. Gaywheels.com will launch as the first automotive website targeted at gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) buyers. The site is said to provide a “gay-friendly” way to shop for cars. Anyone else think this is stupid? [Via]

I just purchased an internet card so I could get online from work. Our internet is still down and this is the first time I use a dial up connection in a long time. KD1 got me 15 hours of internet using Fasttelco which I think is really cheap. The connection though is veryyyy slowwww, I hate dial up. I still remember when I used to get kicked out of BBS’s because of my 2400 baud modem. Nibaq and I used to connect our computers together and he would send me pictures of the Texas A&M chick, each picture would take over 5 minutes to download from him because of my slow modem..

OK, tonight I found out I have a 5 day long photography shoot coming up. It starts on Wednesday 8AM and ends sometime next week. The worse part about this is the first shoot on Wednesday will be on a 70 foot yacht and you know how much I hate boats. I don’t know or should I say I don’t think I will be able to update the blog during the mornings like I usually do so I will probably be posting during the evenings. Its going to be a really hectic week…

KUWAIT CITY—In light of the country’s recent decision to allow women to vote and hold public office, observers around the world have noted that Kuwait appears to have discovered the fairer sex. “The boys in Kuwait are really taking notice of how much the girls have changed over the country’s long political winter,” said Fouad Ajami, an expert in Arab affairs. “They’re no longer shyly avoiding women they’re not related to or clumsily shooting them for not wearing veils in public.” Ajami added that he was not entirely surprised by Kuwait’s discovery, given its long history of teasing women, calling them names, and stoning them to death for being unclean.

Yesterday I was talking to a fellow employe when we started talking about t-shirts. Then somehow out of the blue I remembered Hypercolor t-shirts. The guy hadn’t heard of it since he is young (20) and I am old (26). So I started telling him about the T-Shirts and how in theory they were supposed to change color when you touched them or with the weather but in reality you had to pull the shirt up to your mouth and breathe on it really hard to inspire any kind of color change. When you wore it in school all your friends with spend the whole day either touching you or blowing hot air on your t-shirt so it changes color. This was something really cool in the early 90’s (the t-shirt not the touching) and this was supposed to be the future.

The cool thing is you can still find Hypercolor t-shirts for sale on ebay! Anyway I also created a new category on this blog called “80’s & 90’s” where I will be adding some nostalgia stuff like these t-shirts.

The other day I posted a number (198) to call and find out if you had fines. Today Jackie posted a website that would also allow you to check for fines. I have no fines! 🙂 [Link]
