This movie is going to kick ass. I just watched the latest trailer with the Nine Inch Nails soundtrack and it looks crazy. [Trailer]

I’ve been having such an incredible lucky streak with mangoes recently. The last two boxes I got from Sultan Center turned out to be INCREDIBLE but tonight I might have discovered the “ultimate” mangoes. A friend of mine dropped off a fresh box of Indian Alphonso Mangoes and I just had some… wow they just melted in my mouth. Turns out a friend of his imports these premium mangoes directly from India and has a delivery service here in Kuwait. Its called “Gourmet Mangoes” and you just call them up and order a box of mangoes and get them delivered to you.
They’ve got two kinds of mangoes, a box of regular sized ones is for KD8 while the jumbo sized mangoes are for KD9. That’s just slightly more expensive than Sultan Center which go for KD7.450 and these guys deliver so its worth trying out.

Just got back from the Slider Station two year anniversary party and I am completely stuffed. I just love the place, Happy Anniversary!
I found this video while checking out the 11th Street blog and I couldn’t stop laughing. [YouTube]

Yesterday some magazines arrived to my Aramex Shop&Ship mailbox in the US and now the magazines are with me. Thats US to Kuwait in under 24 hours!
Is it only me or does anyone else also think are there a lot of mosquitoes this year?
The building above looks like its getting demolished which sucks. What would be the harm in refurbishing it? I think the blue pattern is really funky. [Link]

I didn’t think I would find this video interesting but it is! The clip isn’t slowed down or anything, its in real time but the falling magnet creates an eddy current that exerts a damping force on the magnet. [YouTube]
There was a small fire in the basement of my office building and I managed to capture the whole excitement live on my twitter account. You can check out all the posts by clicking [Here] to go to my twitter account or click on the direct links below:

Firemen seem to be taking their time
Cops r here now
Lots of shouting fireman getting ready to go in
They just went in

I am going to Amsterdam with Nat at the end of the week and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on things to do and places to visit. I am going to be there on Queens Day which is cool and I already have an idea of some cafe’s I want to pass by (thank you Cannabis Cup 2008), and maybe go bungee jumping or take a wetland safari but what else can I do or see? No museums please!
I just tried the Ancho Ribs Slider this weekend at Slider Station and now I’m addicted to it. Its by far my favorite slider at the moment. I just had it again for lunch awhile ago and now I can’t wait to have it again. One thing I notice while having lunch was that the place was packed… with girls. Me and my friend were the only guys there which I thought was interesting since I always regarded burgers more of a guy thing than a girl thing.

I passed by the Red Bull event last night and I really don’t understand how companies can have events at Souk Sharq. On a weekend night its nearly impossible to find parking spot there yet alone when there is some kind of event going on. Souq Sharq has what has to be the worst parking planning in Kuwait.
Anyway I shot a couple of videos (above) and also took some pictures which you can check out below. The graffiti wasn’t that great but the dancing was much better than I was expecting.
Inspired by Ma6aba’s post on his favorite new show, I decided to share mine which is True Blood. I am half way through season 1 and like all HBO shows I love it. The basic plot behind the show is that Japanese scientists invented synthetic blood and as a result Vampires no longer needed to feed on human blood. Thats why the vampires decided to “come out of the closet” but as expected not everyone believes they should have the same rights like humans and both government and religious leaders are split on this issue. Its not your ordinary story which is why I like the show a lot. I am not aware of any satellite channel that has True Blood but the full season is available on Amazon for just KD11. [Amazon Link]
